Therefore, â€Å"the righteousness of God† refers to Christ Jesus for he obediently fulfilled all the prophecies of the Old Testament, which began in Genesis 3:15, and faithfully accomplished the Father’s promises. â€Å"And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel. NIV Our faith in Christ Jesus, as our personal savior, justifies us in the sight of the Father because we testify to the pure, holy, and righteous blood that he shed to save us from sin, hell, the grave and eternal death.
